Alexander Sergeyevitch Prilepin was the former head weightlifting coach of the old Soviet Union.  For years the USSR dominated the sport of weightlifting and one of the reasons was Prilepin's Table.  Studying journals of his athletes Prilepin determined the ideal number of sets, reps, and percentages of maximum lifts that would help his weightlifters improve their strength.  Read on...
