Agility or Speed Training?

Agility or speed training, which should be the focus of multi directional athletes?  If you answered agility then DING DING DING what have we got for em Johnny!  Way too much time is spent running in straight lines for sports that require acceleration, deceleration, and a ton of change of directions going every which way.  Train the way you play!
